This is the discography of Northern Irish vocalist Van Morrison.

Morrison made his first recording playing saxophone on "Boozoo Hully Gully" with the International Monarchs in 1962.[1] His starting time recording session every bit lead singer/songwriter with Them was produced by Dick Rowe at Decca's studio. "Don't Kickoff Crying Now" was the first single released and the garage rock classic, "Gloria" was also recorded at this session.[2] "Babe, Delight Don't Go" (recorded October 1964) was released November 1964 with "Gloria" equally the B-side and was a Pinnacle Ten hit in the UK Singles Nautical chart.[iii] "Here Comes the Dark" was Them'southward 2nd hit in 1965, charting at No. ii in the UK and No. 24 in the Usa.[4]

Morrison had his first recording session as a solo artist for Bang Records in New York Metropolis for Bert Berns on 28 March 1967. I of the songs was "Dark-brown Eyed Girl", which charted at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.[five] Since then he has been on the Billboard anthology chart a full of 787 weeks by April 2008 (including the Them albums); a menstruum of about 43 years when his 33rd solo studio album Proceed Information technology Uncomplicated debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200.[6]
